Terry did the most remarkable job of printing my grandchildren's photos on 2 mugs.
He removed the unwanted background, replacing it with a lovely garden and a rainbow. The result was breathtaking. I am so thrilled... he really is a miracle worker. I have used Terry in the past to turn 2 old Audio Cassettes into CDs and also had a photo reproduced with just one person on it instead of two.
Everything Terry does is perfection, so pleased I found him. I'd recommend him any day.

When we found our old video tapes in the loft we thought that we would never be able to watch them again. All those family memories lost. Then a friend told us about Digital Transfer Services so we rang and spoke to Terry Dickinson. He was so helpful and suggested we call round with the tapes. He explained everything in detail and told us what he would do. We left the tapes with him and a few days later he sent an email to say that he could transfer them all and gave us a price. We gave him the go ahead and just over a week later they were ready to be picked up. All those tapes on one memory stick. Wow. We have watched them and can't believe how good the quality is. Some of the tapes were recorded 35 years ago.

I found some old tapes of my favourite modern jazz vibraphonist Bill le Sage the other day, and was so disappointed that I couldn't play them any more on my old equipment. I searched the Internet to find somebody who could transfer them to digital and luckily came across Terry Dickinson. Not only was he able to have Bills music transferred to CDs, but Terry made such a professional job of them. He even added photographs on the CD boxes and a lovely write up about the life of Bill le Sage.

Me and my dad watched the DVD that Saturday. We had a cup of tea at the ready it was like being at the pictures. Dad absolutely loved the DVD he's so pleased to see all his old cine films. Many thanks for saving the cassette recording of my 1980s band. This was the last known copy of music that we recorded about 35 years ago. I've now been able to share the digital version with the other band members and they are absolutely delighted. It has brought back some lovely memories and now we know the music is preserved safely into the future.

Dealing with Digital Transfer has been pleasing in that the results exceeded expectations. But there has been much more - the task of saving, enhancing and transferring 8mm cine with sound was undertaken with enthusiasm and interest; it was far more than a piece of work, it was as though the restorer was preserving his own film and, like me, delighted by the outcome.

As usual, you have provided me with excellent transfers of those hard to find vinyl B sides which I have finally got round to re-discovering and which are not available as digital download - those weird and wonderful oddities from yesteryear. Thank you. You are very patient with my detailed requirements, editing out the various pops and crackles and even EQ'ing the originals to sound like a digital remaster. You're always willing to reply to texts and make it easy to drop off and collect the music.

We called you this morning about 11am wanting to transfer our 1967 wedding film now on VHS tape to a DVD ready for our upcoming 50th anniversary celebrations in August. I must wholeheartedly recommend Terry's digital transfers! I found him to be welcoming, obliging, and professional. He produced professional and attractive artwork, and the quality of my transfers were surprisingly good. Terry will give you an honest opinion of your transfer and the chances of success, and he doesn't charge the earth! He does all sorts of transfers so it's worth asking him if you have an unusual request!
My recommendation is for my VHS video to DVD transfer.

I am so pleased with the results of the negatives you transferred to CD for me especially as some were well over 70 years old. Also the glass plate negatives have come out really well too.

I found the whole process trouble-free and of exceptional value for money. Terry's customer service is second-to-none, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. I will certainly be asking him to do more transfers for me in the future, especially as the quality of the original recording was probably not very good to start with, as it was done outdoors with a Sanyo portable battery powered recorder of 1963 vintage.
